Deployment: March 3, 2025

Bill of Materials (.csv)

Your product's bill of materials (BOM) is always important to verify. Every step of any unit being created within Designer has a Materials element, but until now there was no quick way to assess how many separate materials you may have already added to your instructions as a whole.

With our latest deployment, we've added a Material count value AND a separate downloadable CSV of your unit's material list.

Within the file (can be opened using any spreadsheet software), you'll see separated material names and quantities combined. This is a quick way to verify your steps have all expected materials included.

Note: if your step instructions include embedded units/variants, those will be listed in the CSV with their descriptor/name in the materials column. Use this as a reminder that you will need to verify that embedded unit separately for it's own BOM.

Other Added Features:

  • Something we've been working on for nearly a year has finally become a reality! All 'unit in unit' data is now included in Unit based reporting. Rather than being hidden within the parent unit's job data, we allow you to select units that were built within (embedded units) another unit to see their data separate from the parent unit. Try it out!
  • A camera capture count has been added to Live Production job details when viewing collected imagery from any work order with Cam Capture steps.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue with the drop down arrows in Designer's filter options breaking down to a second line on certain screen resolutions
  • Added 'Unit-in-Unit:' and 'Variant:'labeling to the 'Embed Unit' modal drop down list for which step the unit would follow
  • Resolved a bug in the step review process for publishing related to a repeated need to 'approve' steps previously approved
